Maino Addressing Rick Ross…He’s SPEAKING the TRUTH!!!

24 07 2008

You better preach nigga!!!!  If Ross would have just addressed the situation when it arised then it would have NEVER swelled to the point where it is now.  Everyone has a different life journey.  Going from cop to drug dealer is a lil extreme, however thats makes for good entertainment and an even better story.  It’s Ross’ story.  But, now since OFFICER ross has neglected to tell the truth, someone else did it for him, EXPOSING THE FUCK outta him.  Oh yea, and he dropped a new video and I just looked at it like…wow…what a contradiction….OFFICER ROSS!!!!!

Bout God Damn Time! DJ Khaled ft. Everybody as Usual-OUT HERE GRINDIN (Music Video)

24 07 2008

How many versions of this song are out?  3?  And on each version Boosie has the hardest verse.  There was a rumor that Plies wasn’t going to be on the song because he was charging Khaled and didn’t show up to the first shooting of the video.  Well, the differences have been resolved and he’s in this video.  Wayne who is on one version, isn’t on this version.  AND THATS A GOOD LOOK!!!!  Khaled is trying to show he can sell a single, album and his movement without using Wayne’s selling power.  Plus, Wayne is over saturated right now.  He has his own double platinum album out, plus various collaborations.  The video overall to me is a 6.5/10.  Definitly a downgrade from “We Takin Over”.  It’s the same set up as the other videos.  Khaled posse cut.  I think he needs to push the envelope more on his video selection.  The green screen didn’t work for me.  The best green screen shot in my opinion was OFFICER ROSS.  That was tight, walking the streets with his Undercover Hoos Nigga Unit.  I wonder what their conviction rate is?  For the corniest it is a tie between Boosie running from fire and Plies battling plastic chains in a cell.  Really?!  But, I wish Khaled luck.  He is proving to me that you don’t have to rap to sell units anymore.  So, I’m watching this guy’s moves and putting his best moves into my plan.  Don’t let the way I think ruin the song for you though, check it out above.

Thanks For The Love!

Rick Ross Refutes Cop Photos; Then Proceeds To Air Trick Daddy Out!

16 07 2008

Hmmmm, Trobule brewing in Miami?!?  Ross seems pretty upset @ Trick’s statements.  Either he’s pissed at his credibility being pissed on with these cop photos or he’s pissed at niggaz for starting some bullshit rumors.  Either way, dat nigga is pissed.  If Ross is right, why is Trick so mad at Ross for bein’ hot?  If Trick is right, then niggaz should just stop with this lying rapper bullshit.  Ross might have been a big time dope dealer.  But, somethin’ smells fishy about his credibility about this nigga.  So what, this nigga played college football for Delaware State.  But, the real Rick Ross asked him to stop using his name.  Then, he so makes up alot of shit.  Either way he’s nice.  I like Ross.  But, ehhhhh something smells fishy.  Time will tell.

Rick Ross Was A Cop?! Well He Says No…

14 07 2008

Lol, that picture was the funniest thing in life.  If you haven’t seen it, peep this:

well Ross wasted no time in refuting this “throwback flick.”  But, I was hearing about this before this picture.  Hmmmmm……who to believe?

Check the News:

Rick Ross has charged that images depicting him as a young correctional officer are totally fabricated, the result of savvy graphic artists.

He told AllHipHop.com exclusively, “My life is 100% real. These online hackers putting a picture of my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples’ body. If this s**t was real don’t you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything?”

Earlier, a single image was in circulation on the internet suggesting that Ross previously worked as a correctional officer at an unnamed jail or prison.

The Miami-based rap artist, known for his gritty street rhymes, said envious people have conspired against him for his success and stature.

“I’m in the entertainment business and a lot of people who like to hate because I’m on top of my game,” Ross told AllHipHop.com. “Like I said before my life is 100% real. I live by this die by this. Fake pictures are created by the fake, meant to entertain the fake.”

While the image appears very realistic, boxer Oscar De La Hoya was involved in a similar scandal that made the pugilist appear to be a cross dresser.

The images were proven to be doctored and De La Hoya was completely exonerated. Ross is already moving on.

He stated that he was working on a new album called Deeper Than Rap, which would come at an undetermined date in the near future.

DJ Khaled Readies We Global!

26 06 2008

I can’t hate on Khaled.  He’s the ring leader of a new movement and he doesn’t do anything but holler on songs.  He does alot of things behind closed doors and he’s today’s music executive.  He’s everywhere, he has his hands on the best music and great relationships with today’s hottest artists.  He has a label deal with Koch and now Def Jam for his label the We The Best Music Group.  He has a new artist, Ace Hood who isn’t that bad.  He’s moving in the right direction.  I like Khaled.  I like what he’s doing.  He’s becoming a force on his own, I can’t knock the man’s hustle nor his passion for the game, I’m takin’ notes.  So here’s the news.
